The CRR commits to paraplegic research

The 4 centres specialised in paraplegic rehabilitation (Rehab Basel, the Centre suisse des paraplégiques in Nottwil, the Clinique romande de Réadaptation in Sion and the clinique universitaire de Zurich-Balgrist) have put in place a research platform for people suffering from spinal cord injuries in Switzerland.

This multi-centre study, named SwiSCI (Swiss Spinal Cord Injury Cohort Study) is the largest on-going study concerning people suffering from spinal cord injuries in Switzerland. Since the first investigation in 2011, SwiSCI has managed to collect complex data from around 2000 people. This precious information will supply new knowledge regarding the health and quality of life of people suffering from spinal cord injuries in Switzerland.
