Players from FC Sion tested at the CRR

While launching their preparation for the season 2016-2017, the players of FC Sion visited the Swiss Olympic Medical Center at the Clinique romande de réadaptation (CRR) to evaluate their physical fitness.

While Eurofoot is still in full throng, teams from the the Swiss Championship Super League have already got back to training Preparation rhymes with physical condition. In order to make the most  of the training programme and to be aware of each player's physical condition, the players from FC Sion were tested by the specialists of the Sports Medicine Department at the  CRR last week. The tests are carried out individually and the results passed on the the staff so that they can be used to adapt the following training sessions. On the programme : body composition measurement, warm-up on a bike, jumping test to evaluate strength and endurance test on a running machine. All this in a serious but also light-hearted atmosphere.

As a reminder, these types of test are also available to all sportsmen/women, who wish to train healthily and are interested in training in the best possible conditions.
