How to avoid injury in amateur sportsmen and women

Amateur sports championships have finally started up again after a forced break caused by the coronavirus epidemic. But beware of the risk of injury after this long pause.

Football is the sport which causes the most injuries with 45'000 casualties every year in Switzerland. A 15 minute warm-up could significantly reduce the risk of injury by a third. 

This Tuesday September 15th, Michael Duc, coordinator of the sports medicine department of the CRR and sports performance coach, was interviewed by the RTS - La Première in order to give some practical advice on avoiding injury.
