A 6th national title in 6 years ! what a great perormance by this local club, after a season of extremes.
In fact, nothing could have led us to believe that this season would be victorious. On an athletic level, Elfic Fribourg dominated the regular season and won the League Cup. On a contigent aspect, numerous injuries weakened the team throughout the season. Finally, the tragic deceace of the player Nadège Clément last March led to an extraordinary emotional dimension to the end of the season. In the end, after a difficult season in evey aspect, they did it! Congratulations !
As medical partner to the club, the Clinique romande de réadaptation (CRR) congratulates Helios Basket for their new title. The CRR is pleased, via its « Swiss Olympic Medical Center », to follow and care for the players of Helios and to contribute, in its way, to the great performance of this club.
