Dr Pierre-Etienne Fournier, head physician of the sports medicine department of the Clinique romande de réadaptation (CRR) is a member of the Swiss national football team's medical staff.
After the World Cup in Russia in 2018, Dr Fournier, a member of the staff since 2016, is now participating in his second major competition with the Swiss national football team. In an article published on the 9th of June, Le Nouvelliste presents the challenges linked to Covid and the long journeys that the players will have to make. Let's hope that the excellent medical support, which also includes the Valais' physiotherapist Nicolas Mathieu, will contribute to the team's performance.
