Amateur athletes and concussion

Frequent during leisure activities, concussion is still very badly identified.

In this current situation when a lot of time is spent at home, the Clinique romande de réadaptation (CRR) proposes some interesting reading, with an article from the magazine Planète Santé concerning concussion among amateur athletes 
 
These injuries happen more frequently that we think as often not recognized through a lack of knowledge concerning them. Yet they require quick consultation and close monitoring, in order to minimize the after effects. You can find here advice given by Dr Yan Eggel, sports physician of the Swiss Olympic Medical Center at the CRR, to better recognize concussion and optimize recovery.
