Suva is planning to further develop the organisation of its clinics (Clinique romande de réadaptation de Sion and Rehaklinik Bellikon) and thereby further strengthen its position in the rehabilitation market. The main focus of this development is to improve the exploitation of synergies between the two clinics, to promote the harmonisation of structures and to establish an overall strategic management with a shared CEO.

The Suva model combines prevention, insurance and rehabilitation. Suva's two rehabilitation clinics in Bellikon and Sion are an essential component of this added value system. Their organisation will now be further developed in order to continue to be successful in the rehabilitation market in the future. A new CEO is to be recruited by the end of 2021. The implementation of the new organisation is planned for mid-2022.

We are moving forward and succeeding together

The Suva clinics in Sion and Bellikon specialise in accident rehabilitation and occupational reintegration. They provide maximum benefit to both the companies insured as well as to the accident victims. The rehabilitation market is constantly changing, with the principle of "outpatient rather than inpatient" becoming increasingly important in the healthcare sector. This development is of strategic significance for the Suva clinics, which also support the corresponding new orientation and the rapid expansion of their services. This is reflected, for example, in the development of new facilities such as day hospital (out-patient) rehabilitation or other care services close to the workplace/home, such as the reintegration of disabled people into the workforce.
