If on one hand, running is one of the easiest sports to do, on the other, a good and thorough preparation is very important.

With the forced discontinuation of many sporting activities due to the measures concerning the coronavirus pandemic, a lot of people have taken up or gone back to running, and this is a good thing. There are, however, some precautions to take and some good habits to pay attention to. As Dr Pierre-Etienne Fournier, head of the sports medicine department at the Clinique romande de réadaptation (CRR), says in an article from the Nouvelliste below :

« It is advisable to begin progressively, maybe alternating in the beginning between running and walking. » The Clinique romande de réadaptation and its sports science specialists can provide you with important advice.
