The program CQFD broadcasted by the RTS la 1ère reports on the development of a research chair by the EPFL-Valais in the field of clinical neuro-engineering, located in the Clinique romande de réadaptation (CRR). With the development of this new division, the Valais is becoming a flagship in the domain of neuro-rehabilitation research.

In this division two key people explain the next steps and the possibility of improvements for patients : Professeur Friedhelm Hummel (director of the EPFL-CRR chair) who will lead the clinical research, mainly based on magnetic and electronic non invasive stimulation technologies, and Dr Philippe Vuadens (head physician of the neurological rehabilitation department of the CRR) who will then serve as a link between these clinical results and patients themselves.

You can listen to them below…

CQFD ? What is it ?

"CQFD" is the science and health program broadcasted by La Première. Science helps us, it allows us to move forward and understand the world which surrounds us. Good health, on the other hand, worries us, gets us asking questions, fascinates us.

The team from "CQFD" treats some of the most interesting subjects, explains new discoveries, illnesses and scientific and medical progress.
