The musculoskeletal rehabilitation department of the Clinique romande de réadaptation is responsible for functional re-education and rehabilitation of all deficiencies and disabilities of the musculoskeletal system (ortho-trauma, hand, spinal, technical orthopedics and rehabilitation of burn victims).
In order to strengthen the musculoskeletal rehabilitation department, we are looking for :
A head of clinic (activity rate - clinic and research - between 80% and 100%)
This activity will allow you to exercise your skills in the management of inpatients, on an outpatient consultation basis to be developed and, above all, in a research activity that will ensure an academic career. You will work with the Research Department (statisticians, epidemiologists), as well as various laboratories (strength, performance, walking performance and molecular biology analysis) with the opportunity to collaborate closely with the HES-So VS and EPFL researchers working under the same roof as the CRR.
Your mission
In direct contact with the head of department, you will independently manage the care of inpatients within the multidisciplinary team, according to the needs of the department. You will contribute to training, the development of treatment standards and protocols and research projects in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Depending on your areas of expertise, this position offers the possibility of taking on an outpatient consultation on an axis to be defined.
Our expectations
You have a medical degree and a specialisation in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine or a qualification deemed equivalent. You have experience as a head of clinic in a rehabilitation department and have participated in or directed research work with several scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals. You are a dynamic, enterprising, autonomous and communicative person. You are fluent in French, both orally and in writing. Knowledge of English and German is an advantage.
