The vertigo and balance department now proposes a service which was up until now non-existent in the Valais.
It offers people from the Valais the possibility to consult closer to home and access to an evaluation within the month.
This centre located on the Sion-Champsec hospital site disposes of the two poles necessary and indispensible to carry out full care to patients suffering from vertigo and balance problems.

Service and et consultation process
This department is intended for patients presenting vertigo and/or balance issues.
It first of all offers an otoneurological check up carried out by a nose-throat and ear specialist and a complete functional set of test on the internal ear carried out in the otoneurological laboratory of the nose, throat and ear department of Sion Hospital. Therapeutic care is then proposed at the CRR in Sion, by physiotherapists specialized in vestibular rehabilitation.
