Technical foot and shoe workshop

The technical foot and shoe workshop proposes a wide array of services and means to compensate a missing element or improve the patient's comfort.

The technical foot and shoe workshop has the means to supply the following services :

  • Orthopaedic supports (insoles) simple & complicated
  • specially adapted orthopaedic shoes, for support, for post surgery, for patients suffering from diabetes, etc.
  • orthopaedic shoes made to measure for extremely deformed feet, following a serious injury or an illness caused disability (diabetes, polyarthritis, etc.)
  • orthoses for lower limbs.

In addition to this our workshop is specialised in the caring for diabetes patients (a multidisciplinary consultation with a doctor can be organised if necessary).

The workshop is equipped with a roling carpet in order to analyse the patients gait with the aid of video (sport).

A multidisciplinary consultation with a specialised doctor from the Clinique romande de réadaptation (orthopaedic doctor, neurologist, rheumatologist) can also be organised on request.

All the services provided by this workshop are recognised by the following insurance covers: AI, AVS, accident insurance. For illness insurance, a complementary insurance is necessary.

Who are we ?

The technical foot orthopaedics workshop provides conservative treatment of all orthopaedic and traumatological pathologies of the foot and ankle.

Our technical foot orthopaedics workshop is at the cutting edge and is supported by a high level of infrastructure and expertise.

Collaboration with other specialized entities within the Clinique romande de réadaptation is facilitated, for example with the sports medicine department and the rheumatology department.
