Unique in the French speaking part of Switzerland

As the only clinic specialized in paraplegia in the French speaking part of Switzerland, the Clinique romande de réadaptation (CRR) is organising, for the 2nd time, a special day devoted to the topic of wheelchair use.

The CRR is making its infrastructure available in order to allow the various people involved, whether they be whelchair users themselves, their family members, professional health care providers, associations, specialized service providers, craftsmen, companies, the general public and the media to meet.

Objectives

This event aspires to becoming the not-to-be-missed rendez-vous iin the French speaking part of Switzerland and its objectives are :

to offer a meeting and exchanging platform taking place in a friendly and family orientated atmosphere
to inform people of new technologies and alternative means available
to raise awareness and inform the general public on the handicap world
to position the CRR as THE specialist in paraplegia in the French speaking part of Switzerland
to present the specific services regarding medical care and rehabilitation.

10h	Opening / welcome speech Mr Jean-Raphaël Kurmann, director, CRR Dr Xavier Jordan, head physician of the paraplegia department of the CRR.

10h15	Intervention by M. Benjamin Roduit National Advisor, former headmaster of the Lycée Collège des Creusets in Sion and President of the AVIP.
