The CRR is host to many foreign patients and a large number speak very little or no French at all. In our field it is extremely importnat that patients, doctors and therapists understand each other, in order for the rehabilitation programme to be as efficient and worthy as possible.
The programme Cosmopolis on Canal 9 dedicated one of its documentaries to the Association valaisanne pour l’interprétariat communautaire (AVIC), which offers a network of interpreters to institutions and companies in the Valais region. Our clinic, which collaborates with the AVIC, is one of the institutions to appear in this programme.
