As a rehabilitation clinic specialized in paraglegia and neurology and especially for amputees, the Clinique romande de réadaptation (CRR) contributes in a number of ways to the promotion of sporting activities for people with physical disabilities.
It is with this in mind that the CRR supports the competitions in Veysonnaz, who has organised international ski handicap races for numerous years,. These elite athletes who are paraplegic, amputated, hemiplegic or blind are true champions and are real examples to look up to. The CRR is actively committed, because these kinds of events allow us to promote handicap sports and raise awareness among the population.
The media also contributes actively. Canal 9 devoted its program Omnibus on the 9th of January 2017 to the European Cup races at the beginning of the season. You can see the entire program below with the participation of Beat Eggel, Marketing and Communications Manager of the CRR explaining the reasons behind the Clinic's commitment towards handicap sports in general.
