Former race manager of the Club Alpin Suisse, Hubert Blanchard lost one of his legs in an avalanche in January 2016.
In the Club Alpin Suisse magazine, he tells us the story of his rehabilitation, he tells us about his motivation and his passion for the mountains, which has remained intact despite his accident. After a long stay at the CHUV, Hubert Blanchard spent two months at the Clinique romande de réadaptation, in order to complete his re-education. Thanks to a project of « crowd donating », he was able to fund the acquisition of special prosthetics allowing him to ski once again
